About me. . . hmm. . . the truth is I love what I do for a living and am gracious for the gift that God and my artist mother have blessed me with. A long time ago, people would ask me what I considered myself foremost, An artist or a photographer.
I would always respond with, I am an artist first, photographer second. Now I realize that they are intertwined.
The mind of an artist is a very complicated one. I can't speak for anyone other than myself, but it is not only what I do, but it is who I am. I am a visionary, a storyteller, a memory recorder. Everything I see, hear, feel and dream is somehow transformed into something beyond what it is. So far, it has worked for me and I am lucky to be able to continue my journey and I will do so for as long as my clients enjoy what I am.
I am humbled and gracious for your consideration in my work.
When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs.
When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.
- Ansel Adams
